Why Garage48 HUB in Tallinn?

Different cities in the world have proven the need and usefulness of open space hubs. Examples: Aalto Venture Garage in HelsinkiHub VilniusTechHub in London, TheCube in LondonHacker Dojo in Silicon ValleyiHUB in NairobiGlobal Hub Network.

Tallinn has growing startup and technology community, but had no coworking space for people to work, learn, network, innovate and relax together. Garage48 is about doing things fast. So we opened Garage48 HUB on 1st of December 2010, only 2 weeks from the initial idea.

Garage48 HUB will be the central place to connect startup-minded people and give them the "real feeling" and personal touch of community. Our main goal is to facilitate interaction among the community and offer a place where to meet, work, learn and chill-out.

We will make a basic selection of resident members, like we have at Garage48 events. Selection is needed to ensure HUB member's professionalism and readiness for open-minded communication. HUB is also a great place to arrange various events - seminars, discussions, lectures, presentations etc.
