House rules

We aren’t big on rules, per se, but we have figured out that not everyone inherently understands being a good neighbor, so we’ve had to put together a few points for guests of HUB to keep in mind when hanging out.

House Rules for Garage48 HUB

  1. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. If a resident members asks you to leave, you need to skedaddle
  2. No illegal internet usage - bittorrent, no pr0n (don’t bog down the network)
  3. Clean up your garbage (put stuff to garbage bins)
  4. You break it, you buy it. Simple.
  5. Co-working is an extreme sport, don’t sue us if you break a blood vessel in your forehead dealing with windows, apple’s DRM, or anything else
  6. Don’t be a jerk.

Violators may be forced to wear suits and ties or just asked to leave!

We used ideas from Citizen Space house rules, as we felt they overlap a lot with our mindset.

We trust our members, but incase "common sense" do not work for you, find more strict boundaries below.

  • Arrange one to one meetings at HUB lounge (unlimited).
  • Use the library and lend books to home.
  • Have free entrance at networking events and seminars at the HUB (if not said different).
  • Have discounted or free entrance at partners’/sponsors’ events.
Resident members can:

  • Arrange one to one meetings at HUB lounge (unlimited).
  • Use the library and lend books to home.
  • Free entrance at networking events and seminars at HUB.

Small enterprise membership holders have same limitations as for individual members with the exception that services can be used by anyone from the company.

Cancellation

  • You can give up your membership status at any time, but we expect at least 1 month notice in advance. If this request is not followed, we might ask you to pay for one month extra. You definitely need to pay for the period already started (if started prior to your notice). It doesn't matter, if you have showed up or used the services.
  • E-mail, Skype or any other written notice will do. Just make sure HUB management have received and seen it!
  • After a cancellation we can give your place away immediately. If you have just decided to take a break, we are not oblige to keep it for you. Our suggestion, don't take a break!
